DESCRIPTION

The forward recognition camera receives G sensor signals from the airbag ECU assembly via CAN communication.

If the forward recognition camera receives a G sensor malfunction signal from the airbag ECU assembly, DTC C1A48 is stored.

C1A48	G Sensor	2 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a signal from the airbag ECU assembly indicating that there is a G sensor malfunction is detected by the forward recognition camera for 5 seconds or more.	Electronically controlled brake system

NOTICE:

The lane departure alert system (w/ steering control) uses the CAN communication system. First, confirm that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system. Refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.

1.	GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM

HINT:

If DTC C1A48 is output by the lane departure alert system (w/ steering control), perform troubleshooting for the electronically controlled brake system.
