TERMINALS OF ECU

CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

(a) Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT:

Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors connected.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Procedure:
  1. Turn engine switch off
  2. Bring electrical key transmitter sub-assembly outside detection area but within wireless function operational area
  3. Press lock or unlock switch of electrical key transmitter sub-assembly

Procedure:
  1. Turn engine switch off
  2. Lock all doors
  3. Bring electrical key transmitter sub-assembly outside detection area but within wireless function operational area
  4. Press lock or unlock switch of electrical key transmitter sub-assembly

Plus generation (See waveform 2)

Procedure:
  1. Turn engine switch off
  2. Close all doors

(e) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.
